Mansell is set to make his U.S. Open debut after gaining an exemption via a four-event U.S. Open series on the DP World Tour. He posted three top-10s in those four events, including a tie for third in the Porsche European Open in Germany. As an amateur, Mansell played college golf at Nova Southeastern in Florida, helping the Sharks to the NCAA Division II title in 2015. He also represented in the International Team in the 2017 Palmer Cup. He turned professional in 2017 and eventually gained entrance to the European Tour (now DP World Tour) via the European Challenge Tour.
